About this project.
The project aims to revegetate the banks of the Marguerite River and its tributaries beyond the regulatory 3 meters. The 10,000 trees will be planted in staggered rows every 2 meters on a strip 3 meters wide. The target species are willows, maples and oaks. an 80% survival rate is targeted. Therefore, dead plants will be replaced in subsequent years. A stake and a protector will be installed with the 5,000 potted trees.

About Sainte Marguerite River
Sainte-Marguerite River begins its course of 100 kilometres (62 mi) in Sainte-Marguerite Lake at an altitude of 678 metres (2,224 ft). This lake is recuperating water of many water bodies at West of Mont-Valin.
